Note to Democrats: Despite Your Attempt to Re-write it - History Will Judge YouThe results will not be pretty.By Ric Wasley August 17, 2020So, Democrats. What do you think of when you hear the word, “Vandals”? Do you think of a rugged tribe of germanic peoples who battled Rome and founded a kingdom in North Africa? Because that’s where the name comes from.
No - instead you think of the meaning that history has ascribed to that word: "action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property. i.e., 'an act of mindless vandalism.'"
And how will you be judged by civilized people in 20 or 50 or 100 years? As rational people who loved their country - or as mindless thugs who tried to destroy it?
And all of you self-righteous, cancel culture, ‘woke’, privileged white elites - how will your grandchildren and great-grandchildren remember you? As brave culture warriors - or simply as incomprehensible fools and sheep who tried to destroy what other generations had built?
Do you really think they will admire you for tearing down statues, burning down courthouses, and trying to erase history?
Well, let’s take a look at a real-time example.
Go to a civilized, educated, and rational country like Germany and ask them how they view their Nazi grandparents. Ask them if they are proud of them for burning books, breaking store windows, beating up their enemies, banning a free press, and tearing up their own constitution. Do you really think that any modern German would express pride in their Nazi Grandparents?
That is exactly how your descendants will feel about you!
Will you sit your grandchildren on your knee and tell them with pride how you smashed in store windows, looted, engaged in arson, beat-up old ladies, covered public buildings in graffiti, and turned vast sections of every Democrat-run city into a foul wasteland of burned-out buildings where no one, not even you, wants to live?
Or do you proudly picture yourself twenty years from now squatting in the squalor and destruction that you have wrought and bragging… “Hey, kids - look at this. These used to be beautiful streets with green parks, stores filled with marvelous goods, and a vibrant economy - but we destroyed it and burnt it all down. Aren’t you proud of me?”
And do you know what’s really sad - in that nightmare scenario, what little would be left of humanity probably would be. But even you know in your heart that it wouldn’t be a particularly pleasant place to live. Even for you.
Hopefully, your nihilist vision will be consigned to the scrapheap of history along with the Nazis, Fascists, and Marxists.
And if we are so fortunate to dodge the fate that you are rioting and looting to impose, how do you think those future generations will judge your contribution to the mindless destruction that you have inflicted on America? Now, to be fair, the current anti-American and anti-Western Civilization dogma that controls the Democrat rioters is really not their fault. Sadly, it is the deliberate and cynical creation with 'malice aforethought' of their parents, teachers, and sleazy power-hungry politicians who are happy to sacrifice an entire generation of indoctrinated, brainwashed sheep to their own ruthless lust for totalitarian power.
And sadly often those ruthless demagogues succeed - as we are witnessing right now in the Democrat shameless opportunists salivating over taking power in November.
If they do succeed in November, the results for the last great bastion of freedom left in the modern world will be catastrophic.
But all of those who are committed to monolithic conformity and submission to tyranny should remember that there have been tyrants and evil regimes before. In the end, history shows us they ultimately fail.
So remember Democrats...history will judge you. And if history is any judge - and it will be - it will not be kind.
